St. Xavier’s school has an infirmary with experienced and trained Para-medical staff to attend to the medical needs of students. Doctors routinely visit the campus to examine student’s general health and dentition. In case of emergency/sickness the students are taken to the nearby hospitals. If any students admitted in a hospital the parents / guardians will be informed.
• Boarders must report their sickness to their respective wardens if they wish to see a physician; a record of such requests will be entered in their medical file.
• All students are compulsorily required to undergo an annual medical and dental check-up.
• Students are mandatorily required to fill out a confidential medical record form at the time of admission giving details of any pre-existing condition; parents also required to sign an indemnity waiver while admitting their children to the school.
STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO KEEP MEDICATION OF ANY DESCRIPTION IN THEIR OWN POSSESSION. VIOLATION MAY LEAD TO EXPULSION.
